Born in Sydney of Russian/Australian parents, Greg studied medicine before travelling and painting in Europe and the United States of America.

He works in various media from oils to etchings and has illustrated several children’s books.

He is represented in Australian and overseas collections and has exhibited in the Wynne and Archibald Prizes.

Greg’s work is colourful, often whimsical with a twist of pseudo-intellectual aestheticism which is vaguely relevant to today. It often contains delightful observations about the human condition.
